Steering Committee

Community leaders guide the California Convergence,
with a Steering Committee that defines focus and activities.

Building upon local successes and actions, the California Convergence Steering Committee brings local residents, youth and community organizations to the table as equals with local and state institutions and key stakeholders. The Steering Committee establishes the strategic direction of the Convergence, to advance local, state and national policy change.

The California Convergence Steering Committee was formed in early 2011, by the Advisory Committee which participated in development of California Convergence from 2008-2010. The Advisory Committee was comprised of local leaders, public health agencies, technical assistance providers, and other partners.
